This online tool allows you to transmute optical density to optical transmission and vice versa. It is a valuable tool to calculate the optical transmission of a neutral density filter or determine an OD filter's required optical density for the desired optical transmission.

SCHOTT Filter Calculator

Our SCHOTT color glass filter calculator is an online app that allows a custom analysis of the spectral and internal transmission of any SCHOTT color glass filter material. You can analyze one or more filters in one curve and also zoom into the computed curve's transmission axis and select whether you want to display the whole available spectrum or just a customized wavelength range. Furthermore, we have added the possibility to calculate cemented filter combinations of one up to ten different filter types.
