The curve above shows the typical optical transmission of SCHOTT's BOROFLOAT® glass at 2.0 mm glass thickness for wavelengths up to 5000 nm. Particularly striking is the comparatively high transmission in the visible range, which is possible due to the low absorption and refractive index of BOROFLOAT®.
