Related filters and coatings

The SIR-IR heat-reflection filter optics design represents the best compromise between frequently requested filter characteristics and realizability. It features an extended blocking range up to 2500 nm. The transmission offered by the SIR-IR filters in the visible spectrum is not as high and neutral as that of our highly transparent SIR heat-reflecting hot mirror. However, this slightly lower transparency in the visible spectrum enables a much broader blocking capability for infrared light radiation. At sufficient order quantities, we can adapt the cut-on wavelengths of the filters to individual requirements.
